Please mark your calendar to hear U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin and political scientist Dr. Norman Ornstein, emeritus scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, discuss the history and constitutional basis of our form of federal government and the principles on which our democracy depends.
The webinar will focus on historic and contemporary challenges that test the resilience of our democracy. The conversation and audience questions will be moderated by Dr. Holly Brewer, Burke Professor of American History and Associate Professor at the University of Maryland. This program is being presented in partnership with Montgomery History’s 
History Conversations and the LWVMC’s Trending Topics.
