 Voters' Guide

The League publishes a non-partisan Voters’ Guide four to five weeks before the Primary and General Election. The guide is available electronically on VOTE411, digitally on our website, and in paper form at libraries and other locations. Candidates for all offices, regardless of party, are asked to respond to our questions.

VOTE411 is an interactive guide accessed from a website on a computer, smartphone, tablet, etc. Enter your address and VOTE411 displays all of the offices and candidates that will be on your ballot.. The ballot is personalized to you.  You can learn about candidates on your ballot and what they have to say in response to League questions on issues. Answers are in English and Spanish (where provided.) You can also register to vote via VOTE411 and find other useful election information for your state.

Printed Guide –– Available in digital form in English.

The Voters’ Guide contains information about election procedures, all offices on the ballot, candidate responses to questions posed by the League, and explanations of ballot questions.  Printed copies will be available in public libraries and community centers.

You may request that a copy of the Voters' Guide be mailed to you by clicking Add Me To Your Mailing List.

A Spanish language edition appeared as an insert in El Tiempo Latino and is available on their website as well as here.

 Candidate Forums

Information on candidate forums sponsored by the League of Women Voters will be posted as those events are scheduled.

Links to video recordings of forums will be posted on this site within a few days following the events.
 Voter Hotline

Have questions about the election?  We staff a Voter Hotline during the month before an election. An experienced League member is available to answer your questions.  For the general election, the Voter Hotline will be staffed from 10 am to 4 pm beginning October 7.

Research Report by LWVMC on Voters’ Guide

A League research report shows that Voters’ Guide users are more confident than those who rely on other sources of candidate information and are also more likely to vote in every contest on the ballot. Read the full study to learn how delivering the Voters’ Guide to newly registered voters and voters in low-turnout precincts affected voter participation. (2020-03 Research ReportAppendices)
