Discussion Groups: LWVMD Living Wage Study @ Leisure World

This Discussion Group will focus on the findings of the LWV of Maryland study. The purpose of the study was to examine ways that Maryland can ensure its residents have enough income for at least the basics of food, clothing, shelter, and healthcare. The Kansas LWV adopted a position in support of a living wage that covers these and other needs. The study committee reviewed the Kansas position for possible concurrence (adopt it as written) by Maryland Leagues or to use it as a springboard to develop possible positions specific for MD.
